Warranty Policy for In‑Ear Earphones

Definition of Warranty
Warranty is defined as Tripowin’s written promise to repair or replace an in‑ear earphone that proves faulty due to manufacturing defects. This warranty does not apply if the fault is caused by accidents, negligence, misuse, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, or other user‑induced issues.

Warranty Period

  • Coverage: Tripowin offers a one‑year warranty for in‑ear earphones (excluding carry cases, ear tips, and other accessories).

  • Start Date: The warranty period begins on the date of purchase.

  • Non‑Original Buyers: If you are not the original buyer, you must provide your order number, personal contact details, and shipping address to verify the warranty status.

  • House‑Brand Exception: For Tripowin house‑brands, a repair service may be provided even if an order number is unavailable (provided the product is repairable). However, this does not apply to discontinued items, and you would need to cover the two‑way shipping and repair fees. Expect longer processing times in these cases.

Defective Products & Claim Process

  • What’s Covered: This warranty covers any factory defects that affect the proper functionality of your in‑ear earphones.

  • Exclusions: It does not cover damage resulting from mishandling, user error, water damage, dismantling, or modifications.

  • How to Claim:

    1. Contact Support: Email support@tripowin.com with an appropriate subject line indicating your issue.

    2. Provide Details: Include your order number and a clear, detailed description of the fault.

    3. Evidence: Attach photos and/or videos that clearly demonstrate the defect. (Additional evidence may be requested if the initial documentation is insufficient.)

    4. Assessment: Once the defect is confirmed as a manufacturing issue, Tripowin will arrange for a replacement, a partial refund, or a full refund (where applicable). You may be required to return the defective unit before a replacement is dispatched.

  • Shipping Costs:

    • If the manufacturing issue is reported within the first 7 days upon delivery and can be proven via photo or video, Tripowin will cover the shipping cost for the defective product.

    • For claims made after 7 days, you are responsible for shipping the product to Tripowin for inspection. In such cases, Tripowin will cover the repair/replacement and return shipping (excluding any local tax, import, or processing fees).

    • Note that if you opt for a full refund instead of a replacement, shipping costs will not be covered.

Warranty Limitations
This warranty is not applicable when:

  • The damage is due to accidents, misuse, negligence, dismantling, water exposure, improper installation, vandalism, or unauthorized modifications.

  • The product is a prize item or a giveaway.

  • The product was not purchased directly from Tripowin (e.g., purchased via third‑party sellers such as AliExpress, crowdfunding campaigns, Amazon, or local dealers).

  • The product shows normal wear and tear, including cosmetic changes like a change in color.

  • The user fails to follow the “User Guide” or other safety, usage, or warning instructions included with the product.

  • The product is used commercially or unsupervised by children under 18 years of age.

  • The product becomes faulty due to poor weather conditions or natural disasters.

  • The product is stolen or goes missing.

Limited Warranty Coverage

  • For heavily discounted items (i.e. 40% or more off the retail price) or review units, while repair services may still be offered for a manufacturing defect, you would need to cover the incurred shipping fees and possibly repair costs.

  • In such cases, Tripowin will normally obtain a quotation for the repair fees from the manufacturer, though sometimes this can only be determined after retrieving and inspecting the faulty unit.

  • Warranty procedures may vary depending on the product and the nature of the issue.

  • Should you encounter any problems, please contact support@tripowin.com immediately.

  • If you do not receive a reply within 3 working days, please follow up via our website or Discord. Failure to notify us in a timely manner may limit or void your one‑year warranty.
